Sony FE lens ordered online 23/11/17, delivered (free) 24/11/17 at 1:30 pm in perfect order. Excellent service again, recommended retailer.

Very good report again, online order placed after hours on Tuesday, delivered in 100% good order today (Thursday) am.

Enquired about the description of a used Sony-Zeiss FE f4 ZA OSS lens at a good price described as "mint boxed" and spoke to Brad who was very helpful. Was assured that the description was absolutely correct. Ordered on Friday,delivered early Monday am and I`m pleased to say that the description was justified.Excellent service, hassle free.

I dont normally write a review but from the great service that I have just received from these people they deserve one.
I made my purchase of a Canon 7D Mark II and a 100-400 Mark II Lens by phone on Friday afternoon and by Tuesday morning the items had arrived well packaged as promised. I also sold my Canon 300L IS Lens to them and once it had been received and checked a couple of days later the money was paid into my bank.
I normally would buy from WEX or MPB but decided to take advantage of a decent price on the Lens and Camera.
This is the first time I have purchased from Digital Depot and would recommend this
company.

Each time I venture into London I make a point of heading for Camera World; I think Ive spent far too much money there over the years on a mix of new and second-hand equipment. They are always willing to help and give impartial advice. Occasionally they have some really good deals on new equipment, but you have to watch the price of some of the used items as sometimes it is possible to buy cheaper elsewhere. In general though I have found this to be an excellent place to buy photographic gear

Extremely friendly and helpful. Demonstrated item after item. In all details. And gave me a good recommendation. (Actually for a cheaper item, I am normally used that sales people trying to talk you in more expensive things. )

Used them for the first time to buy a lens online. No problems. Very quick and efficient service. Courier delivery excellent - tracked at each stage. Product was well packaged.

Website could give better indication that the item ordered is in stock.

All in all - a good experience - would use them again.

Canon Lens listed (at lowest price on list) was not in stock.

Wasted 60minutes phone calls and online as they claimed it was credit card issue -verbaly informed by Manager that it wasnt in stock.

Bought same item from Foto-koester - Amazon Marketplace without issue.

Bought a D7000 and Nikkor 50 1.4 last week
The staffs there are really professional, helpful, and kind.

Every time I go in there the guys are really helpful and knowledgeable - They offer great service, have never try to push me in one direction or another and I have no hesitation recommending them.

Have now purchased two Sony a700s from CameraWorld (Wells Street, London branch).

Both times the service was nothing less than exemplary.

No atempt was made to push Canon or Nikon, unlike so many other stores.

The staff were attentive and certainly knew their products which is so refreshing.

Whilst deciding on which DSLR to purchase I was open to suggestion and opinion by the sales staff. However the assistant behind the sales counter was more interested in selling me a Nikon above everything else as in his opinion it was leagues above the rest. I went there seeking an unbiased opininon and left vowing never to return.

I ordered a brand new lens for my Pentax at a good price and was sent a, clearly, used one. This is the second time CW has done this to me. Whats the point in some good prices when they are for used items not the new ones promised? I can go to Ffordes for good used items. Never again CW.

Brilliant service from them when I purchased a Sigma flash for my Canon. Turned up as promised and when I had a problem (of my own making!) I called them up. Very helpful gent answered almost immediately and talked through the problem and provided the solution. Great service all round.

Bought a Canon EF 85mm f/1.8 from these guys which had some problems out of the box. Canon recommended I return it for replacement, so I called Camera World. CW didnt even ask a single question beyond "whats wrong with it?". They immediately shipped me a new lens and arranged for a courier to pick up the defective one.

Sad to say, but I thought that level of service was gone forever from the British high street. Would definitely use again.

I have use this store and agree with Adrians comment that they provide an excellent service,I ordered a lens that was out of stock, they rang me the following day to say it was back in, and did I still want to proceed with the order.
The lens arrived the following day. 10 out of 10 for service and very keen prices

I have bought from Camera World both from their London shop and from their website. Their service is superb, they keep a good stock, and their staff are knowledgeable. Prices at Camera World are competitive compared with high street retailers.
