Ordered a Nissin Di700 Air and Commander kit online. Very quick delivery at a good price, all well packed. Excellent online service.

I recently bought a Zeiss lens at a very good price. The deal was all done automatically (late on a Sunday evening) and went very smoothly. As another reviewer experienced, they sent the lens incredibly quickly despite the fact that I had asked for 'normal' delivery. An impersonal process, of course, but it worked. I have to add, though, that other prices on the website are quite high.

If you have a large budget and are willing to buy the latest kit,Youll get on well in here,
However if you have a tighter budget, and your looking at second hand kit, then your wasting your time, theyre not keen to come and help you out at all, (the second hand kit is in another part of the shop) they will have to bend forward to be able to look down far enough on you when they do come and help,
They appear to have been cutting back their second hand eqpt drasticly over the years to practically non existant levels, yet paradoxically they keep the prices high compared to other second hand suppliers!
I do admit that I have bought cameras from them however each time I have, I have come away feeling that Ive been had, i am in an unfortunate position of this shop being the only second hand camera shop within 30 miles or so.
They do a part exchange for you but you will lose out on the deal, Its a shame but i find them snobbish, unless your paying LOTS into their bank account, otherwise you are so far below them that its demeaning to go there.

Just bought a pair of Nikon Monarch 7 10x42 binoculars from Carmarthen cameras (although I did so through Amazon). I had spoken to the staff before placing the order and found them helpful and friendly. Although I selected normal postage on Amazon, they were despatched that day for next day delivery by Carmarthen, excellent service.

(Just for clarity, I only ordered through Amazon, as I couldnt verify my new credit card with PayPal in time to get the binoculars for a trip).
