Another purchase (2 Hoya filters) went really smoothly. The price was good, and the livery system worked better than promised.

I have been lucky wit amazon.co.uk, having never so far had faulty products delivered or any problem with price. There have been one or two glitches with trying to do things even slightly "outside the box" in the purchasing process, but I have usually sorted it out by carefully manipulating it. I have had some remarkably rapid deliveries lately, and have once used the local drop facility, which worked perfectly. All in all I am very happy with their service and prices.

Bought some great lenses from Amazon warehouse, they offer items with damaged packaging but otherwise perfect at great prices that are way below what you can get elsewhere. Worth keeping an eye on. Service and returns great.

Cannot fault their service. Always buy my memory cards from here. Very well priced and official stock. However, buyers should make sure that they are ordering from Amazon and not an Amazon partner, some of which I have had very bad experience of.

To be honest, due to their tax policy and employment methods, I do not use Amazon as much as I used to. However, that said, I will still use them when it suits.

I have always been impressed by Amazon. Their returns policy is a big plus for me, although Ive only ever used it a couple of times, it gives me confidence. I have recently bought a monopod, an expensive lens and a pair of binoculars, all through Amazon (after using Camera Price Buster). In each case, Amazon were not the cheapest, but they were a known quantity.

I do like to give my custom to independent shops whenever possible; but Amazon does win out sometimes, not always on price, but because of their very easy, no quibble returns process.

Recently purchased the excellent Giottos Ball & Socket head. The price was £49, all other retailers wanted £75 or more. Delivery was free and speedy. I have purchased numerous items, from Amazon both photographic and non-photographic and cant fault them. Highly recommended.

I bought a canon 70-200m L F4 IS lens for a cheap price only to be told a week later that amazon had got the price wrong and they then cancelled my order. By this point, I had already bought accessories from amazons third party dealers such as lens filters but amazon would not help me return them as they were third party organisations.

Ive been using amazon for years and never had any kind of problem with either amazon itself or any of the sellers associated with amazon. They may not always be the absolute cheapest for everything, but if its only a small percentage increase on the cheapest price then I will use amazon for peace of mind as they,ve never failed me yet.

Never had any problems with Amazon. Reliable and efficient returns. Delivery always as promised. Cant really go wrong so buy with confidence BUT the same cannot be said for Amazon marketplace which in my esperience has the some very dodgy traders.

Been using Amazon for 10 years, most times no issues at all.

They let me down with a Xbox360 order (on release), but like most organisations big releases are always an issue. That one thing aside Ive had great service in the 10 years. If things are missing or damaged or not wanted theyve always refunded/replaced.

Ive been using them for probably around 8 years now and have never had any problems. Theyre probably my most consistently used vendor and theyve never let me down.

Their super saver delivery can be somewhat erratic - sometimes youll get it next business day and other times itll be right on the later estimate, but you get what you pay for :)

Ive recently noticed they have a link on the left of the page for shipping options - if you choose "Can be shipped within one business day from Amazon.co.uk" then this will filter the items so that only the ones where Amazon is amongst the suppliers.
CAUTION: you still need to ensure the availability says something like "Availability: In stock. Dispatched from and sold by Amazon.co.uk." to ensure you are not dealing with a Marketplace seller (who Ive found to be rather hit and miss, even supplying counterfeit goods sometimes)

Buy with confidence with Amazon UK everytime! If theres a problem they cant be more helpful: highly recommended!

I found that Amazon is the king of the online shops (I am not sure about the marketplace). Nobody is perfect but Amazon is very near. The only trouble is that when a product is out of stock they dont give you any idea of the date it is available again, I find it very odd. They have the best policy of returning items: I returned a bag that was too little for my needs, I sent it back in the same box it came in, with a return authorisation and a pre-paid label with their address. Next day they notified me they received the item back and I had my full refund on the card I used. Please tell me if you know a shop that is so good with customers.

Ordered items for Christmas presents for my son via this site. Although I had assurances that they were in stock and ordered in time for Christmas, nothing arrived by Christmas day.

Beware, dont do it, order elsewhere.

Amazons delivery times are becoming very hit and miss, with some items taking unacceptably long times to be delivered, even for Super Saver. Latest example is a camera despatched 10 days ago and which has still not arrived.

Amazons website states "Super Saver Delivery will generally be delivered to you 2-4 days later than the same order placed using First Class Delivery". False advertising? Moreover, Amazon appear to have stopped providing names of delivery companies and tracking numbers so that one is unable to track orders online. Be thankful if you do not ever have to contact customer service - you will be given the run-around and sadly, they do not appear to know where items are either.

I ordered two SD memory cards from Amazon with FREE post and packaging. They arrived promptly and exactly as described. Excellent packaging to protect the goods. I would definately use Amazon again in the future.

Just the best online shopping experience you can have, and with solid back up if any problems. Highly recommended.

I have bought many dozens of items from Amazon over the last 8 years or so, most recently a SanDisk memory card, based on the price comparison on this site.

I have always received the items on time, well packaged and in perfect condition.

It wasnt necessary for me to send Amazon any email or to speak to anyone personally about any of my orders so I cannot comment on those aspects of their service.

I have always been very happy with the service and the goods and I would not hesitate to use Amazon again.

Ive ordered many products from Amazon over several years, and definitely recommend them.

On the odd occasion that Ive had a problem with an order, they have sorted it out without any fuss.

One word of caution:
Amazon also list products for sale by "market place sellers". I DO NOT recommend purchasing from these sellers, as the two times I have, it has gone very badly.
Make sure that the product you order is marked as "Dispatched from and sold by Amazon.co.uk". Sometimes you have to look in the right hand column under "more buying choices" to find the Amazon price.
