I forgot to state that the original call to them about my warranty problem was answered with "return the item and well refund the money" although I ask for a replacement.
In fact what happened was the Member of Staff was over ruled and the item was repaired. I was actually entitled to a full refund or replacement.
Bristol Cameras still gets the thumbs down.

I have completely changed my opinion of the supplier due to a bad warranty experience with them. They’re great for getting a speedy and well priced bargain from them - but if it goes wrong theyre a nightmare company to deal with. None of the staff know what their warranty procedure is and the proprietor quotes inaccurate warranty legislation and insisted I prove him wrong and when I did he refused to accept he was incorrect. It’s taken nearly 2.5 months to get my repairs item back to me under warranty. Bristol Cameras gets the big thumbs down from me.

Very helpful (on the phone) if you have a query
