Notes On Prices

The new prices above are for genuine UK stock items. I try to include as many shops as I can, but please do your own research. Remember, if you find a much cheaper price it is almost certainly a grey import - so make sure you know what this means for you, and make an informed choice.

star Many of the shops listed above contribute financially to the cost of running Camera Price Buster, thereby keeping it free for you - these shops are indicated with a yellow asterisk, please use them when you can. When you click through to a shop, you may be directed via a third party to enable the shop to indentify that your visit came from here. Some shops pay a commission on these sales. This does not alter the price you pay.

Product: Canon EF25 II Extension Tube
Offers the ability to use all your EF amd EF-S lenses as macros lenses.

You will lose infinity focus.

To get the best out of this tube, the correct technique is invaluable, Im still struggling as the depth of field becomes tiny, but this can be overcome with suitably small apertures, or not if that is what you are after. Its not amenable to taking snaps as it needs some careful thought. Perserverence will give some great results though

You must ask yourself though, is it good value for money when theres no glass involved ?

There are cheaper aftermarket alternatives I would investigate before getting the Canon version.

Interestingly it can be stacked wit the Canon 1.4x extender even on non-L lenses !

Id go and play with one in a shop first if you can.

The EF12 has less of an effect, but I have no expereience if its use.

Enjoy, Mark
